We love a good salad – they need to be substantial, none of this Namby pamby lettuce leaf type affairs. No limp iceberg, tasteless tomatoes and tough cucumber.

350g bulgar wheat

1 ball mozzarella 

1 Pack of vine tomatoes 

Half a jar of olives

1 can of tuna 

A load of coriander 

Bouillon powder

Pour the bulgar wheat in to a shallow bowl, sprinkle some bouillon over the top add boiling water over  just to cover it. 

Place some cling film over the top and leave aside – the bulgar wheat will cook on its own in about 10 mins 

Then get all other ingredients ready 

Once the bulgar wheat is cooked add the ingredients and glug a nice olive oil all over,  grind a bit of salt and pepper on the top and bingo.
