Meatball and mushroom skewers
I had a brainwave the other day – to make cute little kebabs for the bbq or oven. They are great little things to make with kids too depending if they are happy to touch raw meat – I know some kids don’t like this. You can replace mushrooms for anything, really, peppers, onions something that won’t fall to pieces and your little cherubs would enjoy.
These couldn’t be easier
Buy a pack of mini meatballs (good quality) chestnut mushrooms or other veggies.
Place them both in a bowl and coat with a bit of olive oil
Slide on to the skewers and then sprinkle with fresh thyme salt and pepper.
Put in the oven for around 20 mins or until cooked through.
Or grill on the BBQ.
