I love a bbq and like to keep the kids busy whilst I am preparing more complicated things. They are doing a legit job and not getting in the way asking for things. Get them skewering.
Wooden skewers
Block of halloumi
Two pointed red peppers
2 chicken breasts
Sesame oil
Seasoning
Cube the halloumi and chicken, cut the pepper into pieces.
Place in a bowl and coat with sesame oil, salt and pepper
Carefully skewer all the pieces onto the stick
Keep in the fridge until it’s time to start cooking!
