I have 2 carnivores and this meatloaf goes down really well, the good thing is you can eat it hot or cold. I have even been known to put it in a sandwich with gherkins and a thin layer of mustard
500g beef mince
100g grated cheese
A large splash of Worcester sauce
Fresh thyme
1 teaspoon mustard
Finely chopped onions
1 grated apple squeezed in your hand to get rid of juice
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
1 Squirt of Ketchup
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
Fry the onions in olive oil with fresh thyme
Get a big bowl and mix all the ingredients together.
Place on a flat baking tray with parchment paper.
Mould the mixture in to whichever shape you wish
Bake in the oven for 35 mins – make sure it’s fully cooked before you remove.
