I don’t want this to go in the wrong direction but who doesn’t like dirty food! I Love M & S dirty fries. My festive flapjacks are packed with calories and all things that are horrifically bad for you. No need to be precise with measurements for the toppings – pick and choose what you like and what you don’t. Have fun making ‘em. Get the kids involved!

Make the salted caramel
150g sugar
100g double cream
50g butter

Once the flapjacks are baked pour the caramel over the top
Grab a large handful of pretzels, break them in to pieces and put on top of the caramel. Add broken up pieces of mars bar.
Then put in the fridge to cool.
Melt 200g dark chocolate pour over the top then trop in some chocolate chips , white chocolate stars and either broken up crunchie bars or make your own honeycomb – this recipe will make a lot! Recipe for this below. Place in the fridge for an hour. If you are feeling fancy put some gold lustre dust in a bit of lemon juice and paint on the top of the chocolate with a food paintbrush.

2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
Add the sugar and syrup together in a pan heat with a thermometer until it’s reached 140 degrees centigrade. Then quickly add the bicarbonate of soda. Stir well and pour in to a greased tin to set for 2 hours
