It’s cold, it’s went and all we want to do is eat carbs – I need write not more!!!
450g white bread flour
230g rye flour
1 tsp salt
1 x sachet dried yeast
1 ½ tbsp honey
250 g walnut halves, roughly chopped
500ml Luke warm water
Place all ingredients together in a bowl or mixer. Stir together until a dough is formed
Knead for 8 – 10 minutes
Place in a bowl in a warm room and leave to prove for 2 hours
Turn out on a floured surface and then shape.
Put on a baking tray and leave for 20 mins
Preheat oven to 220 degrees centigrade
Place in oven for 25 – 30 mins
It’s cooked when makes a hollow sound when tapped on the bottom
