Hellooooo – I  am all about the bread, if there are 2 food stuffs in the world I was only allowed to eat, they would be bread and cheese.  When my husband isn’t around for dinner and the kids have had their supper separately, I will have a couple of slices of toast! I would eat it at any opportunity if I were allowed!

Yeasty cakes are just gorge when they have come straight out of the oven. I defy anyone to not like the smell of freshly baked bread. Then add the sweetness of this and you will want to bottle  it as a scent!

My cinnamon bread, when fresh out of the oven literally tastes like a doughnuts. Absolute heaven and so blinking easy to make.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees centigrade

For the dough

700g strong white flour

2 sachets of yeasts

400ml luke warm water

Large pinch Salt

3 tablespoons olive oil

For the topping

80g sugar

2 heaped teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

80g melted butter or dairy free spread

50g almonds

Place all the dough ingredients into a stand mixer or a bowl and kneed until elasticy – leave to rise for a couple of hours.

Once risen grab a brownie tin and place parchment paper inside. Use about half the dough and shape it until it covers the tin .

Use roasting type tin for the rest of the dough and do the same as above

Pour the mixture on to both and sprinkle the almonds all over the top

Place in the oven for 20 minutes or until brown and fully risen. Give extra time if needed

Remove and leave to cool for 10 mins

Hope you enjoy
