Here is a lovely activity to do with kids this time of year.
Who doesn’t love a good old bit of fun in the kitchen during the festive period. I think we have exhausted all the Xmas arts and crafts activities apart from making snow globes with glitter and frankly am hoping they forget I ever purchased them. I don’t know what I was thinking – the idea of that glittery stuff every where is currently giving me heart palpitations!
These little reindeer’s are so cute and easy to do and relatively mess free it that kind of thing stresses you out.
200g dark or milk chocolate
Edible eyes which you can purchase from amazon
Red M&Ms or smarties
Pretzels
Simply melted the chocolate in a bowl in the microwave, checking every 30 secs until melted
Place grease proof paper on a tray and spoon out circle shapes – whatever size you want
Place the pretzels either side of the head for antlers
Plonk the eyes and nose on and hey presto!
Place them on the side or fridge to cool and they should peel off very easily
